Bring your cooking talents and kitchen management skills as a Chef at Bright Horizons. You’ll plan menus, prepare meals, and order inventory as you make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and staff.

As a Cook, you will:

• Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff.

• Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.

• Manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals, as well as cleaning and complying with sanitation requirements.

• Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, and company policies 

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:  

• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education, education, or child development related field is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred
• At least two years of leadership experience in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required
• Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health, safety and licensing standards is required

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation Disclosures:

The hourly rate for this position is between $13.43 to $15.24. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

 This position is also eligible for a hiring incentive of $1,250 payable after 100 days of employment.
