Summary
The Station Coordinator serves as support for nursing staff, director, manager, and other staff by providing clerical/secretarial and receptionist services.Job Description
Assists in the efficient and effective operation of the unit. Promotes public relations to assure service excellence to patients, families, visitors, and hospital departmental staff.
Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent, required.Familiarity with medical terminology either through past work experience or formal technical training in medical secretary course work. Typing skills of at least 40 words/minute. On-the-job training provided to the point of competency. Proficient in use of computers and computer software.
Certification and registry with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is preferred.
