Job purpose
This is an enterprise level role with global scope, owning executive development programs, assessments and talent processes that support BorgWarner’s most senior leadership populations. This role plays a critical part in shaping BorgWarner’s enterprise talent and executive development agenda. Reporting to the Director of Executive Development and Succession, the Talent Management Sr. Specialist partners with senior leaders globally to deliver high-impact executive development programs, manage enterprise talent processes, and translate strategy into scalable development solutions. Under general supervision, the role holder executes global talent and executive development initiatives aligned to business needs and strategic goals, while providing specialist expertise in best-practice benchmarking, impact measurement, and continuous improvement. The role requires close collaboration with senior leaders and HR colleagues to drive impactful, enterprise-wide talent initiatives.

Primary Accountabilities
- Co-Design, project manage and continuously improve enterprise talent and executive development programs and processes aligned to business strategy
- Act as the central WHQ partner for global talent processes and programs
- Translate talent data, assessments, and benchmarking into actionable insights for senior leaders
- Ensure strong governance, fiscal discipline, and measurable impact across all programs
- Own and govern enterprise talent councils across operations and functions.
- Serve as enterprise steward for development budget ensuring strong governance, value for money, and alignment with strategic priorities.

- Our global talent process is running smoothly.
- Executive development programs are delivered on time, on budget, and with strong participant feedback.
- Talent councils operate with clear governance, data, and decision-quality.
- Assessment tools and metrics provide timely, actionable insight to development decisions.

What we are looking for
- You are an excellent project manager. Professional certification is a plus.
- You understand the science and art behind talent assessments. Assessment accreditations are a plus
- You have a strong interest in global talent and executive development and are motivated to proactively partner with others to drive initiatives in a changing environment
- You stay current on external best practices through networks, research, and continuous learning
- You proactively take ownership of your work, working independently and resourcefully while managing priorities with appropriate direction
- You enjoy researching and benchmarking best practices and translating insights into practical, customized solutions
- You bring a global mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities and connect across teams, locations, and functions
- You communicate clearly and creatively, with the ability to design compelling messages for senior audiences
