This is a hybrid position, with 4 days onsite, and 1 remote.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar analytics software (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) to provide actionable insights from complex datasets
Analyze technology/capability gaps, then research, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions to improve the final solution and expedite solution deployment
Work closely with other developers to design and optimize the solution for performance, adaptability, and maintainability
Conduct thorough unit, integration, and cybersecurity testing and remediate identified bugs throughout development cycles
Assist in the creation of clear and concise technical documentation, user guides and training material for the developed solution
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in software development
Experience with data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proven experience managing small projects and drafting associated planning documentation, such as schedules and Work Breakdown Structures
Ability to translate complex data into easily understandable visual reports for diverse stakeholders
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
