Senior Manager - Pulp, Paper and Energy

We have operations in multiple locations globally and Ovar is the Center of Excellence for our Filtration business.

We are now looking for a Senior Manager - Pulp, Paper & Energy to strengthen our Filtration Technology Unit team based in Ovar, Portugal.
 

In this position you will play a key role as a business partner. You will own the financial and technical responsibility of your business, and you can expect to combine and put in practice both strategic and sustainable business development, leadership, product and portfolio management.

Your main responsibilities are

• Driving top line growth and profitability improvement
• Profit and Loss responsibility for your Product Group Pulp, Paper and Energy
• Leading and inspiring a team of skilled Product Managers
• Working closely with cross functional teams developing our product offering, ensuring competitiveness and managing product life cycle
• Creating and implementing pricing strategies together with Area Sales teams
• Creating and implementing strategies, sales plans and budgets

What you need to succeed in this role

• Degree in Engineering in a relevant field (for example Pulp & Paper or Textile)
• Experience with Pulp & Paper market
• Knowledge of Filtration applications in Pulp & Paper and/or Energy industry
• Knowledge of technical textiles is a clear advantage
• Leadership skills and proven experience leading teams
• Sales oriented mindset and strong commercial and financial understanding
• Strong networking, presentation and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of English
