Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our restaurant’s operations with light accounting tasks and basic human resources duties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has strong administrative skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Accounting Support
  • Record and reconcile daily sales and deposits.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing. 
  • Prepare basic financial reports for management review.
• Human Resources Support
  • Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding paperwork. 
  • Track attendance and assist with scheduling. 
  • Support compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• General Administrative Tasks
  • Answer phones and respond to employee inquiries.
  • File and organize documents.
  • Assist management with special projects as needed.

 Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or business preferred.
• Three to five years' experience with bookkeeping and/or HR practices. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Restaurant 365) is a plus.

Physical and Environmental Requirements (ADA-Compliant Language)

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Occasionally needs to move about the office to access files and equipment.
• Constantly operates office equipment such as computers, calculators, and printers.
• Must be able to communicate effectively to exchange accurate information with employees and vendors.
