Work schedule:  7:30 am to 4:00 pm.  30 minute lunch.  Must have flexible hours if need changes, 40 hours per week, evenings as needed by client, travel as needed but rare. 

Job Description

Job Summary: Performs site-specific operational functions as determined by NielsenIQ.

Responsible for overall success of our NielsenIQ account at the Front Desk. 

Essential Functions and Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Services at NielsenIQ include Concierge / General Hospitality / Reception, Facility up keep,  and Conference Room stocking and management.  Back up in Mail and Shipping & Receiving.  Cross Trained.   

  • Initiates and leads special NielsenIQ 

  • Responsible for making our clients look great in areas we oversee or we can assist with.  Big emphasis on Customer Service.  Big emphasis on Client and End User satisfaction.  

  • Train back up.   

  • Events and Meetings support at the highest level.  Many responsibilities are included in this critical role.  These include but are not limited to:  planning events, food ordering, food set up, greeting guests / attendees, cleanliness of the area, arranging tables / chairs / flipcharts, assisting with access and badges, escorting guests, high level communications, providing supplies, attending planning meetings, attending post meetings, providing signage support, checking facility for upkeep and lighting, food set up, food break down, clean white boards, etc.   

  • Creates a Great First Impression.  

  • Oversees the switchboard at the Reception Desk.   

  • Walk the floors and assist clients / end users with any need they may have.   

  • Track and prepare badges as appropriate.   

  • Light office moves and facility upkeep. 

  • Must be reliable and prompt with work and attendance.  Addresses and facilitates the resolutions of employee questions and problems. 

  • Builds existing and prospective client relations. 

  • Maintain kitchens and convenience areas.  Runs dishwasher, manages dishes.  

  • Provides superior level of customer service to existing and prospective clients / visitors.  Work well with all partners including Fed Ex, USPS, IT, Security, and vendors.   

  • Maintains standard operating procedures for sites and develops procedures as service requirements.    Maintains SOP. Oversees development of an on-site training manual along with consistent site testing.  

  • Scanning as needed.   

  • Continually improves and increases services while containing or reducing costs to the client.   

  • Enforces company’s quality standards. 

  • Follows professional dress code requirements.   

Performs other related duties and assignments as required. 

 

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

Work experience: 3-5 years previous reception and hospitality experience required.  Previous industry experience  required.  Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.  Required qualities include customer service oriented, dependable, enthusiasm, punctual, organized, self-directed, self-motivated, and team player. 

 

Physical demands:  Must be able to perform light to medium lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and push wheeled carts and/or dollies; large amount of time spent standing and walking.  Chairs, tables, boxes, and supplies  are frequently moved.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $36,500- $50k. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
