Job Description

As part of a controllership organization, this role will work to build strong processes and controls across the McDonald’s system. Additionally, this role will serve as a key liaison across Finance, Technology, Global Internal Audit, Global Business Services and Markets to drive an effective and efficient controls environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis, consolidation and reporting of monthly financial information for actual and projected results
• Creation of critical standard monthly/quarterly reports for use by Top Management
• Ownership of various SEC reporting functions, including populating financial results for the earnings release and quarterly/annual filings, drafting supporting schedules, compiling and analyzing annual reporting packages, and assisting in filing procedures
• Preparation of materials for key Executive meetings, including the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team
• Collaboration with various stakeholders across global markets, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Legal, internal and external auditors, etc.
• Assist in preparation of ad hoc research requests from management and key customers related to new FASB standards and business initiatives

The expected salary range for this role is $75,700– $94,620 per year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in the accounting industry and/or in financial services, public experience preferred
• Outstanding analytical abilities and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Results-driven individual
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Initiative and creativity in finding efficiencies
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn other software applications necessary to complete daily tasks
