Reports to: Director, Transactions & Valuation

OCI Energy is a developer, owner, and operator of utility scale solar & energy storage sites. We are seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to support our growing organization in a dynamic environment. JOB SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst Intern is responsible for assisting with financial analysis of renewable energy projects under development, construction, operation, as well as conducting related energy market research. Under the direction of the Director, Transactions & Valuation, the Intern will collaborate with third-party advisors, lenders, investors, and internal teams to support renewable energy projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Build, utilize, and maintain financial models for renewable energy projects
• Perform project financial analysis, valuation, and provide financial data for bid preparation
• Perform due diligence on modeling inputs/assumptions
• Conduct market research and provide information for financial valuations
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting
• Perform additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related academic field
  • Working knowledge of key finance, tax and accounting concepts
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of MACRO/VBA
  • Experience with extensive market research
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Good team player and ability to work in a growing team environment
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects
