Production Supervisor

Job Summary:
Strong leader responsible for overseeing production operations ensuring manufacturing and quality processes result in high-quality output. Engage with production employees to ensure duties are completed safely and effectively.
Essential Job Function:
• Assign operator shift duties.
• Implement corrective actions for complaints and credits.
• Monitor/audit QC logs and complaint areas daily.
• Assist others to maintain uninterrupted workflow through manufacturing.
• Assist and coordinate with shipping and receiving.
• Train new hires and enforce company policies.
• Monitor critical supplies, parts, and fiber levels.
• Monitor and address behaviors and conditions daily.
• Raise safety awareness, engagement and positive recognition.
• Remain withing productivity and cost guidelines.
• Forklift qualifications
• Review timecards and approve time off
• Review timecards and approve time off.
• Perform 30/60/90 review with new employees.
• Follow up with employee training and due dates.
• Lead investigations for safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Work with technicians to schedule downtime for PM work.
• Clarify and coordinate housekeeping and cleaning.
• Develop processes like visual management and 5S.
Education and/or Experience:
• College degree in business management preferred
• 3-5 years of leadership experience required
Other Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Basic understanding of business systems and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess the ability to multi-task and be able to prioritize assignments
