Being the Admissions Director at Devereux has its Advantages!

 

As the Admissions Director at Devereux Florida, you will work with other dedicated professionals internally and externally who share your passion for helping others, and ensuing a fluid collaborative Admissions and Utilization Review process for the children's psychiatric residential treatment programs throughout the state of Florida.

 

Every day the Admissions Director you will...

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Admissions & Utilization departments
  • Act as liaison between Devereux, funders, and referral sources to addresses areas of concern and ensure efficient access to services
  • Serves as a subject matter expert related to residential admission requirements, services provided, and compliance requirements 
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external contacts ensuring compliance with organizational, regulatory and funder policies and procedures.

Devereux Florida is a nonprofit behavioral health organization that provides a wide range of services for children, adolescents, and families across the state. Our programs support individuals with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, including those with autism, trauma histories, or intellectual disabilities. Services include residential treatment, therapeutic foster care, outpatient counseling, crisis intervention, and community-based supports. Devereux Florida focuses on individualized, trauma-informed care, helping youth stabilize, heal, and transition to less restrictive environments with ongoing family involvement and support.

 

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday.  This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office at our Viera residential campus.

Salary:  Starts at $63,000 / yr (subject to increase based on relevant experience and education)

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree.   

 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. Two years of previous supervisory experience.  Previous experience in utilization review and/or admissions. 

 

Valid driver's license must be maintained
