Job summary:

Thales Digital Factory accelerates the digital transformation of Thales entities and their clients. The Cloud Trustnest Platform is an important vector of this transformation, providing each of the group's engineers the opportunity to build the environment that best meets their needs by combining network infrastructures, container orchestrators, and a state-of-the-art software factory.

Today, the platform is in production and is used by several thousand developers each day. As the level of maturity of our users constantly evolves, some of them regularly reach out to us to request the integration of new services.

You will join the Data & IA team, which is responsible for the implementation of an injection and data exposure service via Databricks to enhance data value. The team aims to automate several services in Azure Databricks to deploy multiple use cases related to data

You’ll need to have

• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Solid skills related to Azure Databricks Serverless (Spark SQL), Azure Vault
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service
• Automation skills - Terraform, Terragrunt
• Scripting skills (Powershell, Bash, Python)
• Observability skills (Alerting, Log Instrumentation, Monitoring) - Datadog, Azure Monitoring, Azure App Insight
• Solid working experience with software engineering tools like GitLab, GitLab CI, Jira, Artifactory
• Experience in working inside teams using Agile Methodology

Whilst working with us on

• Analyze the functional needs of the team related to their field
• Propose an architecture based on existing solutions (Role-based permissions management, CI/CD Template, Azure Databricks, etc.)
• Develop and deliver an implementation of the architecture shared with the team
• Ensure monitoring of the solution with real-time surveillance tools
• Propose and track the SLI according to our objectives
• Collaborate with platform team members to facilitate an SRE approach.
• Actively participate in various agile ceremonies as a key member of the development team
• Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to capture knowledge and best practices.

 Mobility - travels to France – 1-2 per year

Languages

• English – mandatory
• French – would be a plus
