The Data Advisory Analyst will be responsible for monitoring the results of D&B Match and clustering to come up with rules and best practices to increase match rates for D&B clients. The goal is to drive continuous improvement and increase efficiencies. The Data Advisory Analyst will regularly review and document the best practices to share within the organization.
Essential Key Responsibilities/Job Summary:
- Analyzing match results and recommending rules that would improve match by completing a data quality assessment. This includes preparing data of various files sizes to successfully run through the D&B Match or Connect process.
- Support Match Optimization services by assisting Data Advisors in preparing files, analyzing results, recommending best practices and rules to help successfully complete both paid and unpaid Match Optimization services.
- Review client match results and clusters, especially low-confidence records, to find trends and potential improvement criteria that will help increase the overall match acceptance rate.
- 100% categorization of all prioritized unmatched records including data management/stewardship recommendations for unmatched records.
- Document trends, analysis, and recommendations. This role will be responsible for communicating the results and best practices to team members.
Education/Experience and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of work experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Some experience in handling large datasets, knowledge of Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Sandbox, Python is a plus.
- Ability to work independently to drive customer outcomes and successfully collaborate and communicate results to team members.
- Familiarity with Asian writing systems, such as Kanji, Katakana, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese is a plus.
