Shift Schedule:

• Sunday through Tuesday: 5:00pm - 5:30am
• Wednesday: 5:00pm– 9:30pm
• Overtime required based on business needs

 

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Maintenance Tech III, you will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery, equipment and electrical devices for a 11-line food manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The most qualified candidate will be responsible for keeping lines running, maintaining the equipment, and improving upon existing processes..

 

What Does It Take to be a Maintenance Technician III at Dawn Foods?  

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.  

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of mechanic experience, food manufacturing a plus
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic devices used in low voltage, 3phase 208/230/480V, power distribution, control wiring, etc.
• Able to, or capability of learning to, use shop toolsand equipment such as lathe, drill press, cutting torch, welder (sanitary TIG a plus), hand drill, reciprocating saw, grinder, etc.
