We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a Sr. Executive Assistant, you will be you will be trusted to provide support to the Global Supply Chain team based in our Fort Worth, Texas, USA offices.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Maintain calendar and schedule meetings for senior leaders as assigned.
- Arrange for site-wide events, including catering and engagement items, as required.
- Coordinate meeting agendas and related logistical arrangements for VIP visits.
- Manage travel planning and escalations as needed.
- Manage onsite and offsite meetings and related logistical arrangements.
- Manage and upkeep site office-related inventory, order equipment on behalf of department.
- Manage facilities on behalf of department including maintenance requests.
- Manage office space and required on-boarding of internal/externals including coordination of laptops and other electronic devices.
- Ensure that the org charts, associates lists, and seating charts are updated as and when required.
- Lead / coordinate projects / events and tasks as assigned by senior leader.
- Serve as the single point of contact for generation of PO requests, Goods Receipts, and process invoices. Trigger electronic signatures on documents.
- Assist in coordination of document change control process as needed.
- Communicate with department members in an effective, consistent, and controlled manner.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and pursue improvement projects routinely to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the plant processes.
- Support director-level (and above) team members with timely expense reporting.
- Other tasks as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm
- Travel Requirements: 0-10%
- Relocation assistance: No
