Your primary responsibility will be to mature the physical installation of the aircraft’s LV electrical and avionics systems, including LV EWIS routing and installation for all vehicle systems, guiding the design from concept through detailed design and release. You will translate system, interface and certification requirements into practical design solutions and take ownership of the associated 3D models, installation assemblies, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing drawings. You will work closely with the Propulsion, Systems, and Structures teams, as well as external development partners, to resolve integration challenges and deliver practical design solutions throughout the aircraft development cycle. The role will have a strong focus on hands-on CAD design, complemented by engineering analysis and certification activities. You will have the opportunity to define and mature the installation of LV electric systems currently being developed. Every day will bring new challenges, and you will be given a healthy amount of responsibility and autonomy, always supported by the team. Your Day-to-Day: Mature the LV electrical and avionics systems installation from concept through detailed design and release, integrating it into the aircraft digital mock-up (DMU). Design and detail mechanical components for equipment and LV EWIS installation, such as, brackets, supports, interfaces and assemblies in accordance with applicable aerospace design standards and manufacturing methods.
