Purpose of the position

 

HIAB is looking for a Senior Recruitment Specialist to manage our full-cycle recruitment for the USA  including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing high-quality candidates.  The role plays a critical part in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments and levels within the organization.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Possesses a customer-centric attitude to delivering recruitment and candidate sourcing services in line with defined service level agreements (SLA), key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Able to deliver full lifecycle recruitment services; end-to-end process
  • Responsible for intake calls according to job postings, CV screening, phone interviews, online testing, scheduling interviews, and follow-up calls and emails
  • Committed to best-in-class customer service including real-time responses
  • Offers innovative ideas and original recruitment tactics for sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill positions
  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, referrals, job boards, university boards, recruitment agencies, and events
  • Monitor recruitment agencies' effectiveness and propose changes in the vendors used based on cost and efficiency
  • Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications and process referrals and internal applications, to create short and long lists of candidates
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes and how they would fit into the role
  • Arrange face-to-face and online video interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Maintain proper records in the ATS and other relevant systems
  • Monitor and evaluate current recruitment statistics
  • Maintain good working relationships with all internal and external customers
  • Identify process improvements: Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies
  • Train and support colleagues in activities within their own area of specialty
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability
  • All work conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education:

 

  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field

 

Working experience:

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in the HR domain and/or recruitment
  • Preference for experience in heavy equipment, automotive or construction industry

 

Competence and skills:

 

  • Able to travel 10% of time, local and domestic US
  • Solid skills in Google
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Understanding of referral programs
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment
  • Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment process in medium to large organizations
  • Exceptional customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
  • Ability to stay calm in challenging situations
  • Demonstrate comfort in adapting to different ways of working across cultures and organizational hierarchies - in and outside of HR
