Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join the Financial Reporting and Analytics team at our Indainapolis location

This role will support the Financial Analytics and Reporting team in developing new analytics and reporting to drive operational efficiency and improvement. This role will help develop and maintain datasets, data integrations, and dashboards that support areas such Benchmarking, Labor Productivity, Cost Accounting, and Profitability.  This role will involve a high amount of collaborative work with operational leaders as well as financial team members to create impactful reporting and analytics that deliverable actionable insight. Supports system financial team through strong knowledge of financial systems and financial reporting. Supports and represents business needs through collaboration with IS in the development, implementation and support of new systems and enhancements under a moderate level of guidance and direction. Actively leads and facilitates the gathering of customer needs and objectives to evaluate new applications or enhance existing applications. Self-directs efforts to thoroughly document and test systems requirements and solve complex problems. Develops innovative solutions working collaboratively with the system financial team and IS development team. Prepares communications and makes presentations on solution alternatives and system enhancements. Solves complex problems. Takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Meets deadlines by prioritizing and organizing work. Shares knowledge and supports the development of fellow team members through cross training. Serves as a positive role model and leader for the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field required.
•Requires 2+ years of relevant experience in Computer Technology or Computer Science.
• Requires a demonstrated knowledge and expertise in data management applications, specifically Excel, SQL and other reporting tools.
• Requires knowledge with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; timekeeping systems, and multi-dimensional reporting systems.
• Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications.
• Requires functional knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: Finance; Accounting; Payroll; and Accounts Payable.
