Onboard Safety Critical Senior Software Engineer

<p>Job Description:</p><ul><li>Mission &amp; Duties</li></ul><p>The duties and responsibilities of the Onboard Safety Critical Senior Software Engineer for the Department of Air Refueling Software will be the following:</p><ul><li>To be in charge of the Software Requirements Specification for the Onboard Safety Critical Computing Platforms developed inside the AR Domain.</li><li>To be in charge of the Hardware/Software Integration Testing for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers developed inside the AR Domain.</li><li>To be involved in the development of the Software DO-178B/C DAL A/B for the Onboard Computers developed under the responsibility of the Air Refueling domain, and to be involved in its verification (testing, reviews and analysis).</li><li>To share the responsibility of the Software Certification Process of such Software in front of the Certification Authorities in order to demonstrate the compliance with the RTCA DO-178B/C DAL A/B Objectives.</li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Skills</li></ul><p>For such purposes the following skills are required:</p><ul><li>Advanced level of knowledge of C/C++ and Ada95/2012 programming language.</li><li>Advanced level of knowledge of modelling languages and environments as UML and SysML, Matlab/Simulink and SCADE Suite/Display.</li><li>Demonstrated previous experience in Software Certification Processes applying the RTCA DO-178B/C up to DAL A/B.</li><li>Advanced level of knowledge on Static Timing Analysis and optimization techniques.</li><li>Advanced level of knowledge on Design Constraints and optimization techniques.</li><li>Knowledge on Code Static Analysis techniques including such based on abstract interpretation.</li><li>Knowledge in Software Certification Processes (RTCA DO-178B/C up to DAL A/B).</li><li>Knowledge on SW Verification Techniques considering Software Hardware/Software Integration and Software Integration Testing, and Formal Review of Software Requirements, Software Architectures and Design, Source Code and Test Cases Definitions and Results.</li><li>Knowledge on Software Structural Coverage Analysis Techniques for DAL A/B.</li><li>Knowledge on Worst-Case Execution Time Analysis techniques</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Partitioning Architectures and ARINC653 Standard.</li><li>Knowledge and demonstrated previous experience in control systems theory.</li><li>Knowledge and demonstrated previous experience in continuous integration environments:<ul><li>GIT</li><li>Bitbucket</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Additional valuable skills<ul><li>Advanced knowledge of Python and scripting.</li><li>Demonstrated previous experience in AGILE frameworks.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p>This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.</p><p></p><p>Company:</p>Airbus Defence and Space SAU<p></p><p>Employment Type:</p>Permanent<p>-------</p><p></p><p>Experience Level:</p>Professional<p></p><p>Job Family:</p>Software Engineering &lt;JF-EN-EK&gt;<p></p><p>By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
