Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dedicated team at Riverside Patriot Primary Care in Yorktown, Virginia.

🩺 Scope of Practice & Services:

• Routine treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Annual wellness visits and physical exams
• Management of diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, weight, and other chronic conditions
• Age-appropriate immunizations
• Well-woman exams, including birth control counseling
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic studies
• Conducting thorough physical examinations and assessments
• Formulating and implementing patient care plans
• Providing counseling and education to patients
• Prescribing and analyzing tests and treatments
• Documenting findings and maintaining accurate records
• Performing pulmonology consultations as needed
• Utilizing basic computer skills for EMR and documentation

🎓 Education & Credentials:

• Nurse Practitioner – Master’s in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner License, Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Physician Assistant – Master’s Degree, Physician Assistant License

✅ Requirements:

• Meet comprehensive and professional standards
• Hold a current, valid Virginia medical license or be eligible
• Possess a valid DEA controlled substance registration

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative approach with physicians and care teams
• Ability to guide and support other medical staff
• Experience diagnosing and treating common medical conditions
• Knowledge of managed care and Medicare populations
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Pleasant speaking voice and excellent interpersonal skills
