About the role

Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Auditing - Risk Management, Underwriting & Information Technology team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an IT Auditor

The department Group Auditing performs independent and objective auditing and advisory activities.

You can look forward to

  • Self-reliant planning and execution of internal audits with a focus on IT at our Group headquarters in Hanover and at our international locations 
  • Development of practical recommendations based on the audit findings 
  • Advising the audited units and tracking implementation of the recommendations 
  • Providing needs-based support and advice for newly implemented processes and systems 
  • Further development of audit methods and techniques 

You come equipped with

  • Completed degree in computer science / business IT or comparable, appropriate specialist background
  • Experience in planning and conducting internal audits, e.g. at an auditing firm or in an internal audit department 
  • Hands-on experience in the audit focus of information technology 
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art IT environments, e.g. cloud services, Web-based applications, SAP, and interest in the latest trends in information technology 
  • Strong powers of communication paired with proficient user skills in English and independent user skills in German
  • International mindset and the willingness to go on occasional worldwide business trips, roughly once or twice a year
