The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Commercial Branding & Transportation Division USAC Portfolio Manager, you will lead product and portfolio management for the Personal Auto business which includes automotive window films, car wrap films, and paint protection films. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor marketing programs, new product programs, and provide market and product insights to drive business performance and support strategic decisions. Additionally, you will be managing price strategy, sales engagement, and supporting key channel partnerships/strategic accounts.
As the portfolio manager for Personal Auto, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading product and portfolio management for the US and Canada.
- Leading the Personal Auto portfolio for OP attainment.
- Driving profitable results aligned to business priorities and strategies. Responsible for the overall execution of the operating plan including area pricing strategy, mix management plans, demand review input, and area MRE QOR guidance.
- Leading and managing successful launch and commercialization of NPI's including developing and achieving NPI targets and supporting successful E2E Commercialization.
- Providing support and guidance on training and education related to new product introductions.
- Working closely with cross-functional team members to tailor USAC prioritized programs and tactics for implementation.
- Providing area insights to customer, competitor, and market trends to inform new product development and marketing strategy.
- Adapting and creating portfolio strategies and marketing plans for successful implementation in the area.
- Working closely with commercial and marketing center teams to develop and execute end user channel programs.
- Delivering accurate demand plans and forecasts to meet customer expectations.
- Support the creation of new film constructions/colors as well as life cycle management of SKUs including creating, updating, and discontinuing products.
- Review, maintain and update 3M web content as well as overseeing content translation processes for Canada and ensuring timely updates and improvements of web page content.
- Managing and utilizing data and appropriate analytics (SFDC, PowerBI) to enhance and drive business performance.
- Leading pricing management for the area including standard pricing simplification, NPI commercialization, SPA review and simplification, and overall profitability.
- Engaging with sales teams for new customer growth opportunities including identifying new customers/segments as well as business development of new strategic customers.
- Managing escalations identified by the area sales teams, including managing issues like delivery, quality and pricing.
- Managing the coordination of product samples and sample management platforms.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years in marketing, portfolio management, and/or sales in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Current, Valid Driver’s license
