LifeView is a behavioral health-focused program that seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong billing and prior authorization experience. LifeView Pharmacy Support Specialist performs functions to obtain and process prescriptions for the LIfeView Program and to prepare the pharmacy fulfillment team to dispense and ship medications, while working within the limits of established policies.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in the ongoing development, implementation, coordination, tracking and improvement of LifeView Program as it evolves.
• Support the LifeView Program Manager as a contact point for Sales team regarding LifeView Program implementation and the service levels experienced in the field.
• Assist in managing initial coordination calls for the onboarding process with new clinics / providers.
• Provide support to Pharmacists by entering prescription information, track coordination of benefits, billing, rejections, initiating and following up on prior authorization of all LifeView patient scripts.
• Communicate by phone and email with providers regarding refills and issues concerning prescriptions and obtain proper authorizations and prescription details to refill prescriptions.
• Gather and document demographics to be used to fill prescriptions as well as to coordinate billing of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacy.
• Monitor and triage incoming faxes/documents and process incoming orders. File, fax, and copy various materials as needed.
• Understand metrics as they relate to sales and service in the pharmacy to ensure continuous improvement, using best practices and making sound business decisions for the Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated excellence in attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with critical focus on accuracy and safety.
• Highly effective communicator with superior listening, understanding, speaking, writing, and counseling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to model superior customer service resulting in improved customer satisfaction and enduring business relationships with patients, prescribers, and internal team members.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to work effectively with pharmacy applications.
• Experience in handling claim rejections and working through the prior authorization process to ensure timely approvals and successful resolution of issues.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Certified Tech preferred but not required.
• PioneerRx preferred but not required.
