JOB OVERVIEW

Perform duties across multiple areas of information technology, such as computer hardware, server software, networking, telecommunications, computer support, database analysis, data security, and other areas of the overall IT platform/infrastructure. Responsible for the stability, integrity, and operation of all systems by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software, hardware, and operating systems. Report system downtime and performance issues. Conduct analysis, including planning, designing, and evaluating a variety of information technology tools. Respond to user requests for system needs and upgrades. Manage security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion protection systems. Perform scheduled network tasks, update antivirus definition files, monitor network servers, and provide internet and intranet user support. Participate in IT projects to drive technological efficiencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Basic use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Knowledge base generally acquired from university degree, equivalent coursework, or after gaining the requisite experience in the Business Support Career Streams.
• Develops resolutions to problems of limited scope and complexity. Uses readily available information and follows standard practices and procedures. Emphasis on learning.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum education level is high school diploma/GED equivalent
• 0-3 years’ experience of relevant experience
• Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Mgmt (CRM) ticketing systems
• Familiar with HL7, integrating software platforms, and basic knowledge of IT Security
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, clients, and vendors effectively
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
