We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operations and Maintenance Technician (HVAC) to join our Facilities Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of critical HVAC systems that support both general and cleanroom environments across the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine system checks and field rounds to ensure all HVAC systems operate within prescribed parameters.
- Oversee operation of systems such as cleanroom and general air handlers, exhaust fans, rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, and compressed air systems.
- Proactively identify equipment issues and accurately record findings in the equipment maintenance tracking software.
- Coordinate and execute timely maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Manage equipment/system rotations to support continuous operations.
- Plan and coordinate system shutdowns or outages with minimal disruption.
- Monitor and maintain system compliance with environmental standards through BMS data.
- Use Human Machine Interface (HMI) trends and event logs to diagnose system anomalies and implement effective solutions.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC systems operation and maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment, PREFERRED.
- Strong understanding of BMS systems and HVAC operational principles.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and associated air handling protocols is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated, compliance-driven environment.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree or HVAC certification preferred.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
Compensation:
- $30-$40/hour DOE
Schedule:
- Wednesday through Saturday, 2PM to 12:30 AM
