Salary: $75,670.40 - $96,470.40 annually based on years of experience

A compassionate jobseeker is needed for the Home Health Aide Supervisor opportunity with our company! As a Home Health Aide Supervisor, you will be responsible for collaborating with the CHHA Department Manager to provide initial
and ongoing training for Samaritan’s CHHAs and to ensure that quality care is provided in compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.

What You’ll Do:

 ▪ Make home visits/facility visits to mentor and supervise field CHHA’s.
▪ Ensure that policies and procedures are being followed by the CHHA’s.
▪ Monitor DME utilization and expenditures to ensure cost effectiveness while providing appropriate care.
▪ Assure documentation of services provided is accurate and timely.
▪ Provide CHHA education and oversee professional development needs.
▪ Act as a liaison between the CHHA’s and Nursing staff.
▪ Works closely with the Quality Education RN’s as related to CHHA continuing education.
▪ Assist the CHHA Department Manager and Lead CHHA Scheduler with CHHA payroll processing, time
off tracking, and other administrative responsibilities.
▪ Assist with hiring, conducting orientation, discipline and performance appraisals for CHHA’s.
▪ Assist in developing and facilitating monthly CHHA staff meetings
▪ Assist with Agency billing and documentation
▪ Investigate incidents and complaints and provide appropriate follow up.
▪ Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
▪ Provide back-up assistance to staff.
▪ Serve on clinical and administrative committees.
▪ Other responsibilities as needed.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • NJ RN license
  • 3-5 years of prior supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to serve patients/families with diverse needs
  • Belief in and acceptance of hospice philosophy
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent Computer skills including include Microsoft office, proficiency in Excel, database proficiency
