Description
The Finance and Business Information Services department intends to hire for one position at either the Business Analysis Coordinator or Business Analyst based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. The purpose of this position on the Finance and Business Information Services team serves as a liaison between stakeholders of IT systems and the IT team, ensuring business needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. The role documents existing systems and processes, facilitates communication between business and technical partners, and uses data, reporting, and testing to support decision-making and system effectiveness. It also identifies opportunities to improve processes, integration, and functionality. Leadership responsibilities include relationship building, project and process management, and communication across stakeholders and organizational partners. This position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.
Duties to Include:
Analyze and document business processes, systems, and requirements to drive improvements and system integration.
Partner with stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Develop and execute system testing and support implementation, including validating results with stakeholders.
Generate reports, analyze data and user feedback, and recommend enhancements to improve processes and system performance.
Location: Mossman Business Services Building (MBSB)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Salary: Business Analysis Coordinator: $52,075- commensurate; Business Analyst: $59,109- commensurate

Qualifications
Business Analysis Coordinator - Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in business processes and technical services.
Direct work-related experience (typically 6 months - 1 year) in business analysis and/or application development.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff.
Knowledge of requirement development.
Experience with process analysis
Experience with business and technical communication.
Knowledge of software project development methodologies.
Knowledge of major DBMS, such as Oracle and SQL Server.
Knowledge of testing and supporting software applications.
Demonstrated ability in learning new technologies.
Ability of following through on commitments of self and others.
Demonstrated planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Experience with internal documentation.
