An OT's fundamental role is to help every child who we serve achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential. The Float Occupational Therapist will provide exceptional Occupational Therapy services to pediatric clients and families in a privately owned outpatient setting. 

Compensation and Benefit Details:

  • Annual compensation is $43-$52/hour, commensurate with experience (Compensation is inclusive of 5% Float Differential pay.  If a permanent assignment is accepted, this 5% differential will be removed)
  • Preference for placement at a permanent location if/when a position becomes available.
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel outside the required float locations to support Aurora, Pueblo North, and/or Pueblo South clinics

Qualifications For The Role:

  • Masters level degree in Occupational therapy or greater
  • Current DORA License in the state of CO or eligible to obtain
  • NBCOT certification required
  • 5-year of pediatric experience preferred
  • Proficient with documentation in an electronic medical record
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel across the region to provide consistent, high-quality occupational therapy services to clients and their families in multiple clinics to ensure continuing of care.
  • Provides as-needed coverage to our clinical teams when the primary treating therapist is out of the office
  • Perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations (initial and re-evaluations), set goals, establish/update plans of care, and make treatment recommendations that are relevant to each client.
  • Complete daily treatment sessions that are aligned with the current plan of care to ensure treatment progress and home carryover. 
  • Assist families with Home Programming and community transitions.
  • Completes accurate documentation and billing according to insurance and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and the Woven Care administrative staff (billing, authorizations, referrals, human resources, etc)
  • Collaborate and work with a team of SLPs, PTs, OTs, BCBAs, and ABA Professionals.
  • Support Department Head with administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited, to chart audits, administrative support to clinicians, and other special projects, when direct patient care needs are fulfilled.
  • Guaranteed 30 hours per week.

  • Kneeling and/or sitting on the ground
  • Performing squatting maneuvers
  • Transitioning between standing and floor-level positions
  • Engaging in bending or stooping motions
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Executing lateral and backward pivots or shuffles
  • Running distances up to 100ft
