Job Summary:
Supervises food service areas, including sandwich stand, salad bar, grill, hot foods, and tray line, to ensure customer satisfaction. Implements business practices aligned with the organization’s mission, oversees operations, and identifies growth opportunities.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of supervisory experience required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- Serv Safe certification required.
Essential Functions:
- Manages daily food service operations, ensuring staff have necessary tools and meet goals.
- Assists with cash handling, payroll, and scheduling tasks.
- Identifies and resolves operational issues, escalating as needed.
- Delegates tasks, monitors standards, and prioritizes key activities.
- Provides constructive feedback to motivate and improve employee performance.
- Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and safety standards.
- Promotes workplace safety through training and equipment maintenance.
- Sets standards, implements quality improvements, and communicates effectively.
- Builds employee satisfaction and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintains high service quality and delivery standards.
- Supports diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
- Ability to handle stress and time pressures effectively.
- Builds trusting and professional relationships with staff, customers, and vendors.

Work Environment:
- Work in kitchen and retail areas.
- Exposure to wet floors and sharp equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Regular use of hands for detailed tasks.
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs., rarely up to 100 lbs
