Maintenance Supervisor 
 

 

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for our Dayton, OH facility. In this role you will direct and coordinate all activities related to overall maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility.  Supervise maintenance team to assure an effective and efficient low-cost plant maintenance operation. This is a working supervisor role that is only 50% office work and must have ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

 

Your Responsibilities:

• Supervise skilled trades associates
• Provide guidance to technicians in the resolution of complex maintenance problems
• Direct and coordinate the preventive maintenance program for all equipment
• Plan, coordinate and supervise equipment contractors for repair and rebuild operations
• Establish guidelines, procedures and spare part inventory to assure an efficient cost-effective maintenance program
• Recommend safety policies and assures safety controls are tested and reliable
• Direct and coordinate all building maintenance activities including security systems
• Select, orient and develop maintenance team to include promotion from within, or external hiring
• Review new equipment specifications for maintenance requirements and process consistency
• Develop and analyze CMMS equipment maintenance reports
• Develop process improvement plans to increase equipment readiness. (MTTR, MTBF)
• Ensure that OSHA standards are met throughout all facilities
• Ensure own safety and safety of others by adhering to all company and federally required safety guidelines
• Commit to corporate goals, mission, and vision

 

Your Profile:

• Technical degree, certificate or equivalent experience in a production and facility maintenance
• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing and/or production environment is preferred
• MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Development of maintenance daily work plans
