General Accountant Apprentice (12 months)

Do you like working on a variety of financial topics in parallel, with an international scope?
Within our global Finance department and reporting to the Senior General AccountingManager, you will join a team based in WeWork office in Paris (Saint-Lazare).
Your scope will include general and analytical accounting, the preparation and monitoring of monthly and annual closings of our groups subsidiaries in EMEA / APAC.
What you’ll do:
- Be responsible for the general accounting of the different subsidiaries in compliance with legal provisions and Contentsquare internal procedures.- Coordinate closing operations with other departments and in close collaboration with your manager.- Produce monthly reconciliation statements of accounts and balance sheet files, intercompany account reconciliation.- Act as the main contact of the external accounting firms of our international subsidiaries.- Ensure the accounting integration of new group entities when they are crafted.- Follow and implement accounting procedures within the department.- Check and prepare the payroll journal entry as well as the related accruals: Paid holidays, Bonuses, commissions, etc.- Monthly, quarterly and annual closing
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Diploma in accounting from a French College or University.- Understanding of accounting and financial reporting practices in an international environment.- Confirmed Excel skills (xlookup, pivot tables,...)- Proficient English & French, to be able to connect with our subsidiaries abroad and our internal teams. - Adaptability, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to work autonomously and take initiatives in a growing environment.- Knowledge of Netsuite/Spendesk/Concur or experience in a shared services center would be a plus.
