Overview

Federal Way Performing Arts and Event Center is looking for friendly, motivated individuals to lead our ticket seller staff and assist in box office operations. As a Box Office Lead you will assist, direct, and provide support to all ticket sellers on event days.

 

This role pays an hourly wage of $22.00.

 

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

 

This position will remain open until June 12, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Process and print complementary, mailed, and consignment tickets
  • Process refunds or exchanges as needed
  • Supervise ticket seller staff on event days and address customer service questions, and technology issues
  • Utilize the Etix ticketing system to process ticket sales, troubleshoot customer issues and provide staff support
  • Ensure the ticket seller staff is implementing and following all box office policies and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Box Office Manager

Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school degree required. Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising customer service staff
  • Previous experience with ticketing systems, Etix experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates outstanding work ethic and leadership skills, including excellent attendance, professional appearance and behavior
  • Displays a positive and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Bilingual applicants encouraged
