Senior Quality Auditor

The Senior Quality Auditor, is a new role that will focus on internal audit from a quality view and will result in having a dedicated internal quality auditor within each plant. The Auditor will be responsible to improve consistency and standardization in the quality audit approach for each site. The focus will be country specific, Abbott specific and customer specific requirements.  We will start with 2 roles that will be USA based and the other two roles will be based in the Netherlands and Ireland.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain an effective Internal Audit Program for manufacturing sites in the USA and OUS sites.

• Direct / facilitate / lead site Quality System and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audits to assess compliance to applicable regulations and policies and communicate gaps.

• Provide direction, support, leadership, and management of compliance to Federal Regulations, International Standards/Directives, or other applicable governing bodies and Abbott Policies as they relate to quality management, audits, manufacturing, manufacturing support and CAPA management.

• Train to keep auditing techniques/skills current and keep current with regulatory standards, best practices, and Quality System expectations.

• Execute the audit readiness plan for external audits/inspections.

• Monitor and report audit program health metrics to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.

What kind of knowledge and experience do you bring with you?

• BSc education in life science/ chemistry/ microbiology/ pharmacy/ food technology

• Proven knowledge of and leadership experience with quality assurance system

• 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Industry
