Essential Functions Performed by the Position
- Assists in daily operations, set-ups, runs, clean-ups, and provide break relief.
- Sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains production equipment.
- Verifies materials and supplies, adjusts machinery controls, and maintains production schedules.
- Handles materials properly, minimizes waste, and adheres to safety procedures.
- Works from blueprints, job specifications, and standard practices.
- Performs routine maintenance and ensures product quality by examining for defects and consulting with quality personnel.
- Follows security guidelines and inspects all materials and finished products.
- Participates in training to maintain and improve skills.
- Assumes other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Team Leader.
Scopes of Work
Cast Embosser (ISPR & PRS): Sets up, operates, and maintains embossing presses for holographic images, handle UV curable casting compounds, and perform preventative maintenance.

Position Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working with mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing machines, with 7+ years of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of vacuum systems and thin film coating (preferred, not required).
- Experience of making label and foil type products using a wide variety of machinery including print, emboss, die-cutting and slitting to extremely tight tolerances and very demanding quality standards.
- Must have first-hand experience in at least one area of product Cell and be willing to further their knowledge of all other areas within the Cell.
Licenses or Certifications Required
- None
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to use Insight and MAS for troubleshooting applicable operating machinery.
- Excellent mechanical ability.
- Ability to read and use a ruler to measure raw and finished products.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data collection and product quality monitoring.
- Knowledge of ISO procedures and practice.
- Ability to maintain, retain, and follow safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills required to gain access to Machine and Job Specifications.
- Capable of producing work to an extremely high level of quality to tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to accommodate a rotating shift pattern, which could include a continental shift pattern.

Physical Characteristics and Demands
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- Ability to inspect for small defects on products (<0.005”).
- Ability to observe/inspect moving product under flashing lights (strobe lights)
