Senior Delphi Developer (Athens or Remote in Greece)

On behalf of our client, one of the largest IT solutions provider in Greece with a broad clientele worldwide, we are currently looking for a talented Senior Delphi Developer, to join its software development team.

A day in the life of a “Senior Delphi Developer”

You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our applications. You will work closely with internal departments to understand their application requirements and provide recommendations for solutions. Your technical expertise in Delphi 6 will be essential in ensuring the success of our enterprise-class, online 7x24 transaction processing systems.

Your day-to-day

• Participate in the design and development of applications using Delphi 6
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business needs
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze application requirements
• Assist in the creation and revision of technical design documentation
• Work effectively under tight timelines and schedules while maintaining accuracy and sensitivity
• Identify and address the importance and impact of issues and situations, taking appropriate actions
• Support enterprise-class, online 7x24 transaction processing systems
• Assist in porting Delphi 6 to a new platform
• Collaborate as a team player to achieve company goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Delphi 6 development and maintenance
• Proficiency in MySQL
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Proficiency in .NET programming is a plus
• Experience with TV applications development is a strong advantage
