Ideal candidate must be flexible to support communities within the Los Angeles and Nevada markets with vaild LVN license or willingness to obtain Nevada license upon hire. Must be open to travel. Assisted Living experience highly encouraged.
Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a dynamic and experienced nurse (LVN) leader to be their next Director, Clinical Services Specialist to support our vibrant senior living communities across the Greater Los Angeles area. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day healthcare operations to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. You will manage a dedicated team of nurses, CNAs, and medication technicians, ensuring that care is delivered with respect, compassion, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as residents’ healthcare needs change. Supervises licensed nurses and other direct care staff within the community. Responsible for overseeing and validating all resident care to ensure needs are met and that care is provided in accordance with physician orders, care plans, policies/procedures, and state and federal regulations. Strengthens clinical processes within community until a replacement is identified, then supports newly assigned Director of Clinical Services, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, and/or MDS Coordinator and others as assigned. Travels within the division as assigned to support management vacancies, start-ups, vacations, etc.
