Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is looking for an Agile Systems Architect with advanced expertise in JIRA and Confluence to support our DOD Component Command HQ. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience administering agile collaboration tools, holds a BA in a relevant field, and possesses a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. In this role, you will drive workflow optimization, secure system configurations, and deliver technical support in a mission-critical environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• System Administration: Configure, maintain, and refine agile platforms—primarily JIRA and Confluence—to ensure reliability and peak performance.
• Process Optimization: Design and customize agile workflows, dashboards, and reports to meet evolving operational requirements.
• Security & Compliance: Manage access controls, permissions, integrations, and security measures in accordance with DOD standards.
• Collaboration & Support: Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot issues, and offer training to users, ensuring teams fully leverage the agile tools.
• Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, process guidelines, and performance reports to guide continuous improvement efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

• Experience:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience administering agile tools, with in-depth expertise in JIRA and Confluence.

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration).

• Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED;  with CI Poly preferred.

• Certifications:

  • Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator (or equivalent).

  • Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator or demonstrable Confluence expertise.

  • Certifications such as IAT Level II are a plus in DoD environments, although they do not substitute for Atlassian-specific credentials.

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Expertise in agile methodologies, digital collaboration, and process automation.

  • Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.

  • Familiarity with DOD compliance and security requirements.
