Job Duties

Provides direct patient care to neuropsychiatric patients that conforms to care and treatment policies and procedures and demonstrates knowledge of population specific needs and competencies.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment, work in all areas of food service which includes but are not limited to dishwashing, food delivery and tray assembly. Assist with special functions. This position is responsible for following all health and safety guidelines established by all food service regulations no matter the agency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Capacity to learn and perform all aspects of the food service department to include
tray line, food prep, and sanitation in a safe and efficient manner.
• The ability to read, write and follow specific instructions
• The ability to operate a variety of kitchen equipment used in food preparation.
• The ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Aptitude to work as a contributing team member.
• The ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
• The ability to assist with orientation and training of new food service employees as
directed.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays.

Additional Considerations

Previous industrial food service experience is preferred.
SERVESAFE certification preferred.
