This position includes an academic appointment through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.  Partnerships between the International Center for Polyamine Disorders and other local and national institutions are ongoing and would be joined by this position’s role.  In addition, animal modeling, multiomic data sets, and novel treatment evaluations are underway, and a successful applicant would be willing to enhance those ongoing efforts.

A hybrid work role would be available if candidates prefer. The amount of inperson work would vary based on current and future experimentation but is best estimated at 60% to 80%. A fully equipped wet lab space would be provided at the Grand Rapids Research Center, including 2 individual bays of workspace, a separate room for tissue culture, a vivarium suite, multiple shared facilities, and a private office.
