OVERVIEW

ASR Logistics' goal is to become the 'Most Admired Sweetener Company Globally' to our customers, vendors, and other partners by using data-driven decision making to deliver products on time and in full while being fiscally responsible, environmentally conscious, and food safe. The Transportation Freight Pay Coordinator will be responsible to maintain of the company’s transportation management system, ensure timely, accurate payment of over $120M in annual freight invoices, audit, and control approx. $500K in carrier assessorial invoices. 

Role KPIs includes: 

On time payment freight, invoice error avoidance, continuous improvement, Carrier data timeliness and quality, customer chargebacks, rate bids and updates

 

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• NA Freight pay management.
• SME on NA transportation spend and TMS
• Generation and maintenance of standard operating procedures
• Monitor and Clear rate exceptions
• Manage customer chargebacks and reporting.
• Provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement of Freight metrics such as accessorial, customer charge backs, aging reports.
• Lead a semi-annual RFQ for carrier rates.
• Researching, Entering, and Paying Carrier Invoices
• Carrier Entry and Eval (Insurance, contracts, carrier safety)
• Enter TMS rates and routes, ensure SAP reconciles with TMS.
• Create any LTL or TL shipments that have no shipment created.
• Close loads in SAP that show closed in TMS.
• Approve the ACH spool.
• Support the Supply Chain business as needed in transportation functions, TMS support, and other Ad Hoc projects, tasks etc.

 

WORK EXPERIENCES

• 1-2 years min experience in supply chain, receivables or other related field.

• 1-2 years experience in change management.
• 1-2 years of project management experience preferred.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• 4 year degree in business, accounting, operations management, supply chain/logistics

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

• Excellent analytical competency with strong quantitative analysis skills
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel or equivalent) and database (MS Access or equivalent).
• Technically inclined to rapidly learn new functionalities of complex information systems.
• Must be capable to relate data analysis to sound business recommendations and support business case for improvements.
• Attention to details and manage competing priorities.
• Must be a team player with strong work ethics.

 

HIGHLY DESIREABLE

• Working knowledge of SAP Supply Chain functionalities. SAP BI / Business Objects 
• Project management competencies
• Experience with reporting/analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud
• Experience with SAP and accounts payable processes
• Experience with EDI and API business to business communication; able to help troubleshoot integration issues.
• Knowledge of NA Logistics practices
