Position Purpose:

The Child Crisis Residential (CIRCA) Nurse will provide medication services to the persons served in the program. The Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing assessments, medication distribution, medical administration records, and overseeing the health of persons served while in the program. The Nurse will also be an active participant in the treatment team to provide individualized and appropriate treatment for persons served.

What you will do: 

  • Provide immediate stabilization and support for persons served admitted to the program
  • Perform nursing assessments and function as a liaison with the PCP and other medical providers
  • Administer, monitor, and document medication
  • Verify prescription coverage to ensure continuity of care in medication treatment
  • Conduct groups for persons served regarding physical health in relation to mental health

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum and 2 years of paid behavioral health care experience
  • Current RN License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Pre-employment drug screening, Act 33/34/73 clearances

Schedule: This is a part-time non-exempt position (15 hours/week minimum)

  • Sunday and Monday with a possibility of 1-2 additional shifts per week including evenings, weekends, on call, and/or holidays as assigned.
