Summary

 Assists in the management of field operations at the project site. Involved with the coordination and overseeing of subcontractors and trade employees. Active participant in Corporate Safety and Quality programs.

Assigned Responsibilities:

• Understands existing or potential Health Risks, follows and enforces guidance to prevent or eliminate health hazards.
• Assist in the implementation, enforcement and maintenance of corporate Safety, Quality and Production programs
• Understand subcontractor contract obligation (Exhibit B)
• Assist in the management multiple trades and personalities
• Needs to take detailed direction
• Needs to be able to give clear detailed direction
• Self-understand crew ability
• Assist in managing crews and schedules
• Manpower time tracking (produce time sheets)
• Uphold Safety & QC Program:
• JHA's
• Material Inspection
• Produce Daily Reports

Authority:

• Has the authority to start & stop FHP field trade personnel and subcontractors
• Reports to and/or works with Project Superintendent, Project Manager, General Superintendent
• Works with Project Engineers
• Manages Trade Foreman and Subcontractors
• Authority to stop work

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of:
• Civil
• Structural
• Mechanical
• Electrical
• Architectural
• Positive attitude — PMA

• Must possess a strong work ethic
• Need to understand your own abilities and when to ask for help
• Needs to be able to communicate to trades, Architect/Engineer of Record, Resident Engineer and Owners Representative
• Must have the ability to maintain a clean job site

Education and Training:

• Four-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience OSHA 30 certification required

Technical Skills:

• Basic computer skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office to include Outlook, Excel & Word
• Proficient in the use of mobile device smartphone and/or tablet
• Basic understanding blueprints/shop drawings
• Good basic mathematic skills
• Understanding of scheduling process
• Basic knowledge of equipment capability
• Able to identify potential safety hazards
• Ability to take-off quantities and estimate productivity and duration

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to walk jobsites
• Involves sitting, walking, stooping, bending, reaching ad lifting.
• Can involve lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
