Orchestration Director - Store Creative & Design

The Orchestration Director in Store Creative & Design (SC&D) oversees and upholds brand standards in all international retail locations and leads the go to market (GTM) planning with Clusters. And ensure that our in-store strategy is embedded and deployed in the Clusters in a way that supports the brand, the business and drives excellence in execution?
Your responsibilities
This role will be critical to the success of Pandora as we continue our strategy to be a full jewelry brand and create desirable and memorable brand experiences. You will lead Orchestration in close collaboration with Global functions and the Clusters. You will enable the deployment of the strategy with clear communication and training to ensure we can execute with excellence.
In your role you will work in close partnership with the Director of Retail Creative Operations, Director of Retail Creative Studio, Product Presentation Manager, Go-to-Market, Global Business Unit Directors, Retail Excellence Training Manager and Cluster Directors and Managers. You will lead a small of four people consisting of two Managers (direct reports) and two Specialists (indirect reports). You will report to the VP of SC&D Operations & Orchestration.
Furthermore, you will:
- Lead the seasonal cross functional kick-off within the Creative team and key cross functional milestone meetings.
- Lead strategic priorities and planning in close collaboration with Retail Creative functions and key stakeholders.
- Establish strong collaboration with the Clusters and provide strategic direction while working with the Clusters in balancing brand and commercial needs, as well as ensuring cultural relevance.
- Oversee the development and production of platinum window support level to ensure brand standards are upheld.
- Plan and oversee implementation of strategic projects to ensure brand standards are upheld and business needs are met.
- Be the voice of the Clusters in the global development process by establishing a strong feedback loop at the right time.
- Be the trail blazer to establish a Training Task Force including the Global, Clusters and Sales team focused on identifying training opportunities with the store teams.
- Identify and develop training programs across multiple disciplines for Clusters, Product Presentation, and store teams.
- Ensure new service requests (engraving, piercing, click and collect) are fit for use in the retail environment by working with GBU, Retail Excellence and Clusters before briefing relevant Retail Creative functions.
- Own zoning principles and oversee implementation of store layout in partnership with Retail Design and Clusters.
- Drive Global standards for new store openings. Furthermore, you will work with Clusters and Retail Excellence to establish best in class ways of working and training, to drive efficiencies and quality in execution.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in an international company, and proven experience working in the retail environment across strategic planning, creative implementation, product presentation and operational expertise.
- Proven managerial experience with managerial responsibility of a direct reporting team and demonstrated strong leadership skills driving high engagement within the team.
- Demonstrated abilities to drive strategic projects working with a wide range of stakeholders to integrate their teams and responsibilities into the overall success of the project – from concept to successful implementation, which meet brand and business requirements.
- Experience within the jewelry industry is a huge advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Successful in working in a matrix organization.
- Strategic mindset and ability to translate strategy and plans, verbally and in writing
- Critical thinker, pragmatic implementer, and problem solver with the ability to ask the right questions and facilitate decisions at the right time.
- Independent, goal-oriented, structured and team oriented.
- Enjoy working in a fast past environment with multiple stakeholders.
