Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axos is seeking a Personalization Data Analyst to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for examining and interpreting large datasets to uncover insights that drive and inform personalized customer experiences. This role requires proficiency in data analysis, statistical methodologies, and familiarity with marketing technologies to identify patterns, measure outcomes, and influence personalization strategies that enhance user engagement and overall customer value.

This position will be onsite at our HQ in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage SQL and other database tools to query and transform data, providing actionable insights that support personalization initiatives across all supported channels
• Utilize Python/R to conduct advanced statistical analysis, build predictive models, and validate hypotheses that inform personalization strategies
• Collaborate closely with the Personalization Solutions Developer and cross-functional teams to refine algorithms, improve targeting accuracy, and scale data-driven personalization use-cases
• Participate in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments to ensure robust, statistically significant measurement of personalization effectiveness
• Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that clearly communicate key findings, performance metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Continuously monitor and optimize personalization initiatives, providing data-driven strategies that support improvements in customer engagement, conversion, and lifetime value
• Contribute to documentation, including business process maps and procedural guidelines, for analytics and data governance
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in data analytics, personalization technologies, and marketing methodologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years' experience in a data analysis role within a marketing technology environment
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis
• Experience with Python/R for statistical analysis and modeling
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Effective communication skills to present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
