Sr Systems Analyst

American National is seeking a Sr Systems Analyst to support the Agent Websites division of our Corporate Technology Services Department! You will be a dynamic liaison, bridging the gap between our business users and development teams.

 

Your Impact:

 

• Understands business requirements and is able to relate these to the supporting system requirements, producing simple technical specifications for the work to be done
• Plan and coordinate projects/large work efforts using the agile development methodology. Participate as a Scrum Master on new and ongoing efforts
• Use appropriate tools (e.g. Microsoft ADO) to organize, manage and report status on work efforts
• Schedule and lead/facilitate regular status meetings, playbacks to the business and any other meetings necessary to the project or work effort
• Serve as liaison between developers and business community to resolve questions/issues related to software requirements and design
• Coordinate/assist with unit testing of delivered code. Prepare Test Cases and Test Scenarios
• Responds promptly to production issues by serving on an on-call rotation for the 24-hour support of the team’s systems
   

 

What You Will Need to be Successful in this Role:

 

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of work experience
• Experience with SQL and Postman/SOAPUI
• Strong documentation skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with constant change 
• Must be self-motivated, team-oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision
