The Campaign Performance Lead is a meticulous and data-driven expert in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and is responsible for analyzing and reporting on our marketing campaigns to ensure optimal performance and return on investment (ROI). Utilizing GA4 and other analytical tools, this position tracks, analyzes, and identifies trends that inform smarter decision-making across all marketing channels. Insights drive customer growth and retention, optimize acquisition channels, enhance user experiences, and maximize lifetime value through actionable, data-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid search, display, social media, email, and more, using GA4 and other analytics platforms.
• Configure and monitor GA4 properties to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign success. Ensure accurate event tracking and user flow to optimize conversion rates.
• Use GA4 data to create detailed reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and strategy improvements.
• Monitor performance across various marketing channels, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the digital marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with business goals and properly tracked.
• To inform future campaign strategies, and provide insights into customer behavior, audience segmentation, and engagement.
• Ability to interpret large sets of data and translate them into clear, actionable insights for marketing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
Requirements
• Established background in data analysis with proficiency in analytical tools and software such as Google Analytics, SQL, Tableau, Excel, and other data visualization tools.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Power BI).
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and social media metrics; financial metrics; and publishing KPI’s.
• Industry background in Publishing or Subscription Services company preferred.
• Self-directed, a willing collaborator, and enjoys working in a team environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, with a strong focus on campaign analysis and GA4 implementation.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and setting up tags for accurate data collection.
• Familiarity with other analytics tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Analytics, or other marketing platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and visualization.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Must be able to work remotely; Must have access to reliable, fast-speed internet.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $70,000 and $85,000.  Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role
