<p><strong>The role</strong><br/><br/>The VP of Global IT reports the CFO, is member of the Business Support Leadership and Milestone's senior leadership team <br/><br/>Global IT provides enterprise solutions to Milestone business and customers. We are approximately 90 employees based in Denmark, Bulgaria and Spain. We safeguard and drive Enterprise Architecture, we define Solution Architecture and develop solutions based on standard software. We lead IT security by defining IT policies and setting guardrails for behavior, acceptable use, and compliance. Our services include configuration of standard software, software and integration development, cloud services, cybersecurity, data analytics, digital workplace, end-user support and much more. We offer a dynamic work environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure Milestone’s business capabilities are adequately supported with digital technology​ at a reasonable value/cost ratio while driving for automation and scalability​</li> <li>Drive Enterprise Architecture, IT governance and related development frameworks including improvements of the overall IT operating model with related agile and ITIL processes</li> <li>Manage the IT portfolio in close alignment with business stakeholders</li> <li>Scout for and apply market driven innovation</li> <li>Service employees with a digitized secure work environment with reasonable controls​</li> <li>Develop, maintain, and operate secure IT services and solutions related to how we sell, go to market and operate incl. underlying infrastructure</li> <li>In close collaboration with Product and Technology Group, align Enterprise and Product Architecture and provide shared IT services when needed for product development activities ​</li> <li>Provide foundation and controls for IT managed outside IT​</li> <li>Accountable for information security including compliance with standards and legislation</li> <li>Budget responsible for 90+ employees and 30+ consultants managing an OPEX budget at 16 MEUR and CAPEX budget at app. 6 MEUR</li> </ul> <p><br/><strong>The ideal candidate brings the following experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ideal candidate likely holds an IT-technical background (Master’s degree), preferably combined with a commercial or business-oriented postgraduate education.</li> <li>Preferably experienced in managing organizations across multiple countries (approx. 110 employees).</li> <li>Experience with implementation and optimization of large-scale system and process rollouts.</li> <li>Ideally experienced in maintaining a customer-oriented approach within the organization being served.</li> <li>Proficiency in English at a high professional level is required.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of AI is highly desirable.<br/> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; competencies we are looking for:</strong><br/><br/>• A visible leader with strong leadership skills, the ability to drive processes, and create value through change.<br/>• An effective communicator, capable of operating at all levels – both internally and externally.<br/>• Strategic thinker, visionary, business-oriented, with a strong ability to execute and, together with the <br/>   organization, deliver results in both the short and long term.<br/>• A role model with high integrity.<br/>• Strong drive and results-oriented mindset.<br/>• A good sparring partner for both the company and its employees.<br/>• Ability to motivate both employees and partners.<br/>• Can-do attitude.<br/> </p> <p><strong>Apply </strong></p> <p>If you’re ready to make a significant impact and take your career to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!</p> <p>You will experience an inclusive and unbiased recruitment process where all employment decisions are based on qualifications rather than race, color, ethnicity, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, and religion.
