Internship - Financial Reporting and Analytics

Overview

The Financial Reporting and Anylsis Intern for Lowes Foods will assist the financial reporting team with weekly reports and analyses using excel and power point.  

Responsibilities

Individual will further analytical skills, learn about the structure and drivers of the P&L and the chart of accounts. They will update excel reports and assist with updating power point presentations 

 

PROJECT EXPECTATIONS: At the end of the internship, create a presentation and present it to leadership that identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies in current financial reporting or analysis. This would be specific to the work performed during the internship. The presentation should capture what was learned as well as potential improvements to current processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
• Minimum rising Sophomores
• Basic excel skills to include formulas and pivot tables, some exposure to power point
