National Grid is hiring a Energy Efficiency Support Analyst.  

This position can sit in Albany, Syracuse or Buffalo, NY
This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of those locations

 

Job Purpose

 

Join our team as an Administrative and Project Management Support Specialist for National Grid's Commercial and Industrial electric and gas energy efficiency, demand reduction, and climate change initiatives. Your primary focus will be to provide support for Energy Efficiency (EE) Processing, including customer incentive applications and contracts for efficiency products and services. This role involves data entry, sales performance reporting, and project management to ensure seamless coordination with customers, vendors, engineers, and other stakeholders involved in customer efficiency projects and applications.
 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Manage project tasks, including tracking completion probability and anticipated timelines, and conducting follow-up calls to monitor project status. 
  • Review customers, efficiency measures, and proposed devices for program eligibility. 
  • Enter electronic applications into the company's Demand Side Management System. 
  • Collaborate with sales/technical sales, customers, vendors, and program managers to collect and review documentation required for application processing, such as equipment data sheets, price quotations, invoices, survey forms, and signatures. 
  • Support robust analysis to facilitate forecasting efforts and ensure quality assurance of targeted savings achievements. 
  • Prepare customer reports and project status updates.
  • Develop spreadsheets for cost-benefit analysis of projects as directed.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports to track sales performance and monitor progress.

Qualifications

 

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, and/or a minimum of 3+ years of recent related experience. 
  • Highly motivated and self-starting individual with exceptional time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects within strict budget and time constraints.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with co-workers, vendors, and customers, while also possessing the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with a keenness for continuous development and learning.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations for training and meetings, as well as the availability to work storm assignments as required by the company.

Salary
$67,000 - $79,000 a year 
Salary commensurate with location and experience
