About the Role
Beyond Finance is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join the Finance Team in our Houston office. The role reports to the Procurement Manager and is expected to work from the office 3 to 4 days per week. The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders, business units, and locations. The role requires flexibility to changing business needs and the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, and rapidly growing company. This role has broad responsibility for supporting the Procurement Manager and Director in building, implementing, and facilitating a best-in-class procurement function.
What You will Do (Responsibilities)
- Act as procurement point of contact for assigned contracts and stakeholders.
- Identify and fulfill procurement needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Perform research and cost analysis for potential vendors.
- Perform contract evaluations, financial modeling, and commercial deal analysis.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with vendors/suppliers.
- Facilitate vendor selection, onboarding, and contract execution.
- Monitor contract performance (via KPIs) and manage vendor relationships.
- Maintain the overall procurement sourcing calendar for assigned vendors.
- Support procurement function to ensure processes, procedures, and controls are operating effectively.
- Represent Procurement, Facilities and Travel functions in developing and supporting service level agreements with internal company organizations.
- Support department and company cost reduction and value optimization objectives.
- Maintain appropriate service levels with key stakeholders.
- Support Procurement, Facilities, and Travel functions in achieving department objectives and a best-in-class procurement function.
- Assist with development and implementation of best practices across the procurement cycle (planning, requirements, sourcing, evaluation, contract award and management).
- Participate in special projects and other duties as required.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or similar disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in procurement, supply chain or a similar role.
- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to individual and organizational success.
- Strong working knowledge of all Procurement processes and functions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- Experience with contract negotiations and supplier management.
- Good strategic planning and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient with procurement software and tools (e.g ERP systems, Netsuite, others).
- Proficient with spreadsheets and basic modeling (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
Preferred:
- Experience with sourcing/procuring technology software/security, equipment and services (incl. cloud-based software/maintenance/license contracts).
- Experience with forecasting, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
- Experience with vendor/market research and data analysis.
- Experience with multi-level negotiations (clients, vendors, and stakeholders).<
